VICE PRESIDENT

Sherman Baker brings over 18 years of commercial real estate appraisal expertise to Clarendon's leadership team as Vice President and Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. Licensed in both Illinois and Michigan, he combines extensive technical appraisal knowledge with proven leadership capabilities in delivering complex commercial analyses for government agencies, financial institutions, and private sector clients across the Midwest.

Mr. Baker performs comprehensive commercial appraisals and technical reviews ranging from routine to highly complex assignments, including land development, residential, industrial, retail, hotel, and mixed-use properties. His specialized expertise includes access easements, land leases, places of worship, and condominium development projects. He conducts Market Studies, HUD Rent Comparable Studies, and GSA Fair Annual Rent (FAR) Studies while ensuring compliance with firm guidelines, client requirements, and industry standards.

He excels in technical review processes, working collaboratively with internal team members and clients to ensure report compliance and quality assurance. His proficiency with Argus and Microsoft Excel cash flow forecasting applications, combined with extensive continuing education, maintains his position at the forefront of commercial valuation methodology.

With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Eastern Michigan University and ongoing professional development, Mr. Baker supports Clarendon's mission of delivering compliance through expertise and innovation. He provides leadership oversight while maintaining hands-on expertise in complex commercial appraisal assignments across multiple property types and geographic markets.
